Setting Up Screencastify in ClassLink

If your school or district uses ClassLink LaunchPad, you can add Screencastify from the ClassLink App Library and make it available to the appropriate users.

Follow the steps below in the ClassLink Management Console (CMC).

Add Screencastify from the App Library

1. In the CMC, expand Applications and select Add & Assign Apps.
2. Click App Library.
3. Search for Screencastify and click Add.

📝 Already added Screencastify? If the button says Remove, Screencastify has already been added.

Add Screencastify to an App Library

Next, add Castify to the App Library used by the profiles that need access.

1. Expand Applications and select App Library.
2. Find the App Library you want to use and click Applications in the Assign Applications column.
3. Find Screencastify and click Add in the Action column.

✅ Need a new App Library? From Applications → App Library, click Add to create one. 

Make sure the App Library is assigned to the right profiles

ClassLink uses profiles to determine which App Libraries are available to selected people and groups in your school system.

From Applications → App Library, use the dropdown and checkboxes for your App Library to select the profiles that should receive it.

📝 Note: If you already use an App Library assigned to the appropriate profiles, you do not need to create a separate library just for Screencastify. You can add Screencastify to the existing library.

Once Screencastify is added to the appropriate App Library and that library is assigned to the intended profiles, your ClassLink setup is complete.
