We have a big problem here at Screencastify HQ.

You might have already met our friend, the Master Screencaster (he’s the star of the badge you receive when you complete our teacher certification course).

Adorable, right?

Here’s the problem: The Master doesn’t have a proper name.

So, we’re turning to our awesome community of screencastin’ educators on Twitter to get some help.

Here’s how this will work:

• From now until August 31st, share your name idea on Twitter using the hashtag #NameTheMaster.
• Here in Chicago, we’ll narrow the choices down to our top 10 favorite names. If you’re one of the final 10, you’ll get some awesome Screencastify swag and a free year of Screencastify Premium.
• On September 1, we’ll share the finalists in a poll on Twitter and let the entire community of screencasters vote on the name.
• On September 8th, we’ll announce the Master Screencaster’s new name. Whoever has the winning idea will receive a free LIFETIME Premium subscription!

You’re welcome to submit as many names as you’d like as long as they’re from the same Twitter account. If multiple people submit the same name, we’ll count it from the first submitter for the purposes of the prize. But, every person who submits it is entitled to unlimited pride.
