When a new technology first breaks onto the scene, there are two types of people.

There are those who are early adopters and take to it like a duck to water, and there are those – often the majority – who shrink away from the new tech, often out of fear.

Such has been the experience of artificial intelligence as it has become increasingly prevalent in our lives, but as AI has become more commonplace, it is quickly becoming a must-have technology.

And what was once feared is now revered.

Well, perhaps not revered, but certainly expected. It’s rare that we are surprised anymore when we encounter AI somewhere, somehow, in our daily lives. When you look at the evolution of AI in education, the incorporation of artificial intelligence into the classroom and learning experience was first met with extreme caution. Now, as we move toward more ubiquitous use of the technology in education, it is becoming not only acceptable, but the norm.

AI has ushered in a new era of education and is transforming the many ways students learn and educators teach.

It is reshaping education by taking personalized learning to the next level, better assessing student engagement and comprehension, and giving teachers and educators back so much of their time that is often lost to administrative tasks.

And when you pair AI and video, both students and educators are offered a new door of opportunity. As AI and video are increasingly used in classrooms, fears and uncertainty around the technology decrease, while the potential to better educate learners increases.
