Hi folks!
Today, we’re incredibly happy to launch our newest certification course specifically tailored to students, Master Screencaster, Jr.
This course is taught by the spectacular Holly Clark, and it’s available free for everyone!
If you plan to use Screencastify with your students, this course is perfect for getting them started! It's only 10 minutes long, but don't let its brevity fool you. In that time, students will learn the all the basics of creating and sharing a Screencastify video, plus an introductory note about digital citizenship.

How to get your students started
- Send your students to the course home to begin
- Have them watch Holly’s videos (about 10 minutes total). They can follow along with the Screencastify extesion.
- Have them take our 10-question final quiz.
Once they get an 80% or higher, we’ll officially crown them as Master Screencaster and send over a certificate and badge. Display them on a bulletin board, collect them as an assignment, or have students create their own email signatures. We’re fine with however students decide to flaunt their new credential!
