About the role

Screencastify has a massive, intensely engaged community of users (just search for "Screencastify" on Twitter and you'll see what we mean!). We're looking for an Email Marketing Manager to inspire, support, and nurture our community, with the ultimate goal of increasing product usage and conversions.

We prioritize fast iteration without compromising quality, while maintaining an attention to detail that creates the kind of delightful interactions we’re known for. We’re looking for a creative, organized, and strategic marketer to join our team and help us continue to grow.

What you'll do:

  • Dream up and build lifecycle email marketing strategies for all of our audiences.
  • Create email nurtures and marketing campaigns from concept, copy, building, testing, and execution.
  • Create and manage a simple but extensive map of email automations.
  • Monitor these campaigns and optimize towards product engagement, conversion, or other predefined goals.
  • Create, manage, and optimize audience segments based on engagement, use cases, etc.
  • Develop database segmentation strategies based on analysis across all marketing channels including email, social, SEO, events, webinars, and more.
  • Review results based on industry benchmarks and the health of our database on a regular basis and report to the broader team. Develop testing strategies to increase performance.

You’re perfect for this role if you:

  • Have at least 3 years of email marketing experience.
  • Have advanced knowledge of a major email automation tool (we use ActiveCampaign).
  • Are extremely organized (sloppy or inconsistent data bothers you to no end).
  • Have experience owning email engagement metrics by various audience segments.
  • Write brilliantly, yet succinctly.
  • Have an eye for excellent design.
  • Love the challenges, hours, and ups-and-downs of startup life.
