About the role

Screencastify is a powerful and versatile product for schools, but its impact can be multiplied with great guidance and management. As our first Customer Success Manager, you will work directly with our sales team, marketing team, and leadership to shape the way we help our key customers achieve the best possible outcomes with Screencastify.

  3. You'll tackle our most interesting and impactful problems. Our team is still small, and people wear many hats. You'd jump between sales, marketing, internal tools, design β€” participating in every phase from inception to implementation. Absolutely no boredom.
  4. Join us at a magical time. We're profitable and support tens of millions of users with a small team, which gives us a huge green field to work with. You'll join at the perfect time to shape how we grow from here.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain and expand Screencastify's existing customer base by owning key accounts
  • Learn our product inside and out and help your accounts drive adoption and educational outcomes
  • Proactively identify accounts that aren’t maximizing their opportunity with our product and reach out to create an action plan to help them achieve success
  • Collaborate with our sales team to manage renewals and expansions
  • Surface opportunities to expand existing accounts when it’s right for the customer

You're perfect for this role if you:

  • Have a track record of high achievement in your current Account Management or Customer Success role
  • Have a growth mindset and view setbacks as learning opportunities, not failures
  • Can put yourself in others’ shoes and see situations from perspectives other than your own
  • Are motivated by seeing others succeed and grow when you partner with them
  • Love the challenges, hours, and ups-and-downs of startup life
  • [Bonus] Are a former classroom teacher and/or have prior edtech experience
